Police in Kanunga district are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a 25 year old man.

The deceased has been identified as Sirajia Karungi a resident of Nyakibuga village, Nyakibuga subcounty in kanunugu district.

According to Kigezi police spokesperson Elly Maate, Karungi was last seen on Saturday in company of other people in a bar belonging to Francis Twinamtsiko.

Maate says later in the morning of Sunday, the deceased was found lying unconscious in a pooli of blood at a junction of kikona trading centre with a big stone next tohim in the blood.

 The police mouthpiece further says, Karungi was rushed to Kanungu Health center 1V where he died moments later.

Two people have been arrested and others still at large to help police in investigations.
