Police in Kabale district are hunting for suspects who allegedly defiled a 13-year old girl.

The two only identified as Dan and Akim are residents of Rushaki cell Southern division Kabale municipality.

It’s alleged that on the 21/10/2023, at about 7:00a.m, at Rushaki cell, the suspects defiled the victim and warned her not to inform anybody or risk being killed.

 The victim instead went and informed her mother who then reported the matter at Kabale central Police station and a case file no; CRB 810/2023 was opened.

The Kigezi region police spokesperson Elly Maate says the victim was examined as inquiries into the matter continue.
