Police in Kisoro have arrested a 22-year old man for alleged aggrevated robbery of money and phones.
The suspect is Gestin Ngoga a Rwandan M23 soldier and resident of Rucuro Kiwanja in DRC.
Its alleged that on Sunday evening at Kinanira village Mupaka town council, Ngoga who was armed with a gun intercepted Lawrence Nasasira, a boda boda rider and robbed him of his money, worth 400.000=Ugx and two mobile phones.
Nasasira immediately went and reported to Mupaka border police post and they pursued him until he was arrested.
Elly maate, the Kigezi police spokesperson says the rifle, ammunitions and the phones were all recovered.
