Kabale: Police investigate death of an unidentified adult woman

Police in Kabale are actively pursuing suspects believed to be responsible for the murder of an unidentified adult female, whose body was discovered in Buhoro village, Buhara sub-county, Kabale district.

According to reports, on the 27th of May, 2024, at an undisclosed time, unknown assailants maliciously caused the death of the yet-to-be-identified female adult in Buhoro village, Buhara sub-county, Kabale district.

Geradin Ainembabazi, reported the incident to the authorities at Rwene police post, prompting the involvement of the district CID officer in Kabale.

Elly Maate, the police spokesperson for the Kigezi Region, disclosed that the victim’s body exhibited bruises on the legs, eyes, and arms.

It was discovered just a few meters from the Uganda-Rwanda border line and subsequently transported to Kabale Regional Referral Hospital for postmortem examination.

Maate reiterated that law enforcement is diligently working to identify and apprehend the suspects involved in the heinous crime.
