Unknown Thugs Break Into Pride microfinance Kabale Branch

Police in Kabale district are investigating circumstances under which two guns were stolen from Kabale micro finance guards and later recovered in the same building.

It is alleged that last night[20/11/2023] at about 1:30am, five unknown thugs broke into pride microfinance bank and stole two SR-guns with 14 rounds of ammunitions, the property belonging to Saracen.

According to Elly Maate the Kigezi police spokesperson, the assailants also attempted to break the safe of the bank but never succeeded after they were intercepted and took off. 

 Maate says police visited thescene and two guns with 9rounds of ammunitions were found within the bank building.

‘’scene was visited by Homicide team led by D/IP Magara Richard Dep Cid officer and team, statements from relevant witnesses obtained and the two guns were recovered with 9 rounds of ammunitions within the bank building.’’ Maate said in a statement.

He further says guards are currently at Kabala central police station to help police in investigations.
